The Guanghua-Kellogg EMBA program invites you to attend a sample class & info session on May 19, 2023 in Guangzhou. On this event, we are honored to welcome Professor Li MA, the Associate Dean and Director of EMBA programs at Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, to share his insights on the topic “Managing Foreign Firms: Whose way?”. He will also share with you the program"s structure and its expansive networking opportunities. Following the speech, a GK alumnus and a GK student will also be joining us to share their first-hand learning experiences. The modern wave of globalization has driven countries to become more economically interdependent and companies to engage in more international cooperation and competition. As multinational companies have expanded into China and vice versa, finding the optimal management approach to localization has become increasingly important to their success. When confronted with different regulations, policies, technology, and workforces, how should multinational companies balance local needs and their management practices? In this lecture, Prof. Li Ma will evaluate the cases of various multinational firms, examining their operations, personnel management, and the local business landscape to reveal their most successful management approaches and practices.
